However, we have entered into articulation agreements with partner institutions that will accept Merold Institute courses as part of a transfer agreement. Each partner institution has different requirements. You can request specific agreements through the Merold Institute office. Our partner institutions include Central Christian College of the Bible (Moberly, MO), and Lincoln Christian University (Lincoln, IL).
Who can apply?
Institute courses are open to all adults. Because the level of teaching and study is at the undergraduate level, students should have a minimum of high school graduation or equivalent.
When can I begin?
You can apply at any time. Courses begin several times each semester. While the curriculum has a logical order and progression, you can take any course in any order.
What does tuition cost?
Tuition for Merold Institute courses is $125 (USD) per course and includes credentialed instructors, access to our learning management system, and other class expenses. Books are NOT included in tuition. This allows students to purchase books in the format they prefer (print or digital).
Are scholarships available?
No scholarships are available at this time.
What order should the classes be taken in?
Classes have no prerequisites and may be taken in any sequence. However, the most helpful sequence will be the order they are scheduled.
Can I just take one class?
Absolutely! You can take only the classes you want or finish all of them to earn a Certificate of Bible & Theological Studies.
Can I audit courses?
The Merold Institute is a curated experience for adults facilitated by a qualified instructor. As such, part of the learning process is the timely completion of assignments and participation in discussions. It is not recommended that a student audit courses. However, an audit may be allowed under certain circumstances after consultation with the Institute Director.
